Hey, friends! I just wanted to update you: The novel is back from editing and is currently getting a final polish. It should be in your hands by the end of the month. (Well, maybe longer to touch your palms physically, depending on shipping, but the digital delivery is quick.)

I've heard from some of you that your postcards arrived, and yay! I hope you enjoyed them.

As you know, the physical zine arrived from the printer during Gen Con. A few of you were able to stop by and pick up your copies and some add-ons. For the rest of you: They're on their way!

And the digital deliveries have begun as well. I warned those who picked up in person that the included download link wasn't live yet, but it is now. (Who needs sleep after Gen Con? XD ) Check your email inbox (for the address given in your fulfillment survey) for the link to download. The zine, historical notes, printables, and stat blocks for 3 systems are available now, and the character sheets will be available very soon. (Turns out I do need a little sleep after Gen Con...)

Or, check your BookFunnel library, visible at http://my.BookFunnel.com using the email address provided on your fulfillment survey, and you'll find the zine waiting for you. You can use the link inside the zine to download the bonus materials as above.

As for the novel -- it's close! It's in editing right now, and I hope to have the manuscript back for final updates and layout within the next couple of weeks. Barring unforeseen circumstances of significant proportion, expect good fulfillment news in the very near future.

They arrived from the printer today, and they look great! 

If you're at Gen Con Indianapolis this weekend, feel free to stop by the booth and pick up your copy! (Just please bring your phone or other device to show your Kickstarter pledge in your account or in a confirmation email.) You can pick up your Kitsune Tales stories, too, if applicable!

Otherwise, your physical zine will be packaged and ship this weekend, and digital zines will be delivered very, very soon! (The digital zines are finished, as well as the adapted stats for D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, and L5R. We're just waiting on the final character sheets for those systems, and then all will virtually ship together.)

I've returned safely from Japan (although there was a bit of an adventure, more on that later) and am working hard to finalize and fulfill. Here's where we are now:

1. The print zine is complete and has been ordered; we're waiting on print delivery. Those will ship upon arrival and quality check, so probably around Aug 1 or so, assuming all ships as planned.
2. The digital zine is complete and uploaded, awaiting the start of distribution.
3. The bonus digital material (creature stats for several systems, character sheets, printable player material, etc.) is in layout progress. Once that's finished, digital zine fulfillment will begin, probably also by Aug 1 or so.
4. The novel is in editing. Once final edits have been received and implemented, it will go to layout. I have enough experience at this point that layout is generally a pretty fast process, so that should be a short step before digital fulfillment (epub) and print run order.
5. Bonus: Everyone who supplied a physical mailing address (all backers at physical tiers, backers at digital tiers who responded to the last update) has been sent a postcard which was carried to and postmarked at the top of Mt. Fuji.

Again, we're very, very close to locking orders, so if you have any updates to your shipping address, if you haven't completed your survey for digital delivery, if you want to add another story or if you need those super-adorable reading kitsune enamel pins, now is the time to make your updates!
