It has been a ride, I know. I shared the novel paperback printing concerns with you in the last update, and to address those concerns, the printing was shifted to the UK for hands-on checking. After that update, there were a few more technical issues, made more difficult by a family emergency for my printer contact who was overseeing the corrections, so the process was not fast.
But today, I have a shipping notice! The books are on their way!

So, the paperback is still in progress.
We're sorting some technical issues, and I'm going to show you why the printer is re-calibrating for the cover.
You can see from this comparison of book 2 that there's a significant color difference. This is what we're trying to get corrected. No one is sure why the same cover file is being printed in different palettes.
The printer is being fantastic about it and we're getting it sorted. I've used them before -- they did both books in this photo, on separate runs -- and they're going to fix it. The good news is, the books are now being re-printed and hand-checked for color. The bad news is, well, it's taking longer.
So I wanted to let you know that you are not forgotten! It's coming! The delay is to make sure that you get a pretty book as intended. In the meantime, please enjoy the ebook, and I hope these will arrive to you soon!
